Lane wins Scottish Senior Open

08/22/2010 - St. Andrews, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Barry Lane only managed an even-par 72 on Sunday, but it was enough to get the victory at the Scottish Senior Open.

Lane finished the tournament at four-under 212 and won by four strokes at Fairmont St. Andrews.

This was his first victory on the European Senior Tour in only his fourth start. Lane took second at the PGA Seniors Championship in June. He also finished third this year on the European Tour.

Second-round leader Glenn Ralph struggled to a five-over 77 and fell into a tie for second place with Jim Rhodes, who had a one-over 73 on Sunday. The pair finished at even-par 216.

David J. Russell shot a one-over 73 and took fourth at plus-one, followed by Chris Williams, whose five-over 77 sent him to fifth place at two-over-par 218.
